It has been an absolute pleasure to work with NCCC and in particular their absolutely LEGENDARY trainer Ainsley. Kadina High School partnered with NCCC in 2022 as part of The NGO Flood Support Program. NCCC have been running Barista courses for all of our Year 10 students and also provided the training for 25 Year 11 students in 2022.

Ainsley has been absolutely amazing with her dedication and commitment to our students. The students have not only been engaged but have thrived on the training days and to achieve their Barista certificate has had a massive impact on our student’s self-esteem and mental health. Many of our students have gained part time work and have gained a valuable skill to their resume.

Ainsley will have trained over 60 of our students by the end of 2023 and hopefully many more to come in the future. Ains has a very special gift as a teacher, trainer and mentor. Her teaching style is inclusive, genuine, caring and she is simply brilliant. Thanks so much NCCC and Ainsley, you are amazing!

Kadina High School

At Pacific Valley Christian School, we have seen the students grow in both character and skills through the NCCC Barista Training and the Barista Championships. The course has given our students the confidence to apply for part time jobs. Students have gained valuable skills that they can transfer into the workplace. They have grown in their confidence in customer service as well as the barista skills.

Some of the students are now volunteering their time to work in the schools coffee trailer, where they are applying their skills a couple of morning’s a week.

I have also seen that students are less daunted by external courses and further study as they have experienced wonderful, patient and supportive trainers through NCCC.”
