All first aid certificates expire three years from the date of issue , so if you earned your first aid qualification in 2015 it is now time to renew.

The issuing RTO for these units are Allen’s Training P/L – Provider Number 90909

Approved by WorkCover, this one day course provides the skills and knowledge required to deliver first aid responses, life support and casualty management until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

The unit applies to everyone who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Students need to click here to access their online workbook which is to be completed before the course commences. All other course resources will be provided on the day. Successful participants receive an electronic statement of attainment: HLTAID003 Provide first aid statement of attainment.

HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation CPR and Recertification students do not need to complete the first aid workbook before course commencement. CPR component renews a current certificate for a further 12 months.

for CPR only – attend in Alstonville and Ballina from 9.30am to 12.30pm and in Yamba, from 9am to 12pm on the dates listed below:

  • Alstonville: 9.30 am to 5.30 pm
    Fri 2 Feb, Sat 17 Feb, Sat 10 Mar, Wed 28 Mar, Sat 5 May
  • Ballina:
    Over two evenings: Mon 26 Feb and Tues 27 Feb (6:00 pm to 9:00 pm)
    Sat 7 Apr (9:30 am to 5:30 pm)
  • Yamba: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
    Fri 9 Feb, Sat 24 Feb, Fri 9 Mar, Sat 24 Mar, Fri 6 Apr, Sat 21 Apr, Thur 3 May


  • Full course – $155
  • Recertification – $155
  • CPR only – $80 (attendance in Alstonville and Ballina 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and in Yamba 9 am to 12 pm on the dates listed above)
