All first aid certificates expire three years from the date of issue , so if you earned your first aid qualification in 2015 it is now time to renew.

Delivered in partnership with Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

This one day course provides the skills and knowledge required to deliver first aid responses, life support and casualty management until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

The unit applies to everyone who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

COMPULSORY course pre-work is required. Students can either request a first aid manual and workbook from the college or access the course materials online.

Students need to click here to access their online workbook which is to be completed before the course commences. All other course resources will be provided on the day. Successful participants receive an electronic statement of attainment: HLTAID003 Provide first aid.

HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation CPR component renews a current certificate for a further 12 months.

Full course fee – $155 (includes CPR)

Recertification fee – $155 (for those renewing a current certificate)

CSO Fee: $85

CPR fee – $80 (attendance in Alstonville and Ballina 9.30am to 12.30pm and in Yamba 9am to 12pm on the dates listed below)

TERM 4 2018: Fri 19 Oct, Sat 3 Nov, Fri 16 Nov, Sat 1 Dec, Fri 14 Dec

 

Alstonville Campus:  9.30am – 5.30pm

Ballina Campus: 9.30am – 5.30pm

TERM 4 2018:  Fri 2 Nov, Evenings Tue 27 Nov and Wed 28 Nov (6pm to 9pm)

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

Students are required to set up an account and get a Unique Student Identifier. Their training results are recorded in the national vocational and training (VET) database so transcripts can be accessed Australia-wide.
