Would you like to learn more about rainforest conservation and regeneration and how to grow Subtropical Rainforest trees? Are you in the business of ecological restoration, rainforest propagation or environmental education? Have you ever wondered what has happened to the local Big Scrub?
This informative workshop with local rainforest regeneration specialist and owner of Firewheel Nursery, Mark Dunphy will provide you with quality vegetation management advice and expertise, on how to successfully design, implement and maintain major revegetation projects.
NCCC, in collaboration with Cape Byron Distillery are excited to offer this workshop in Cape Byron Distillery’s own Subtropical Rainforest, which compliments their working Macadamia nut farm.
This non-accredited training is a great introduction to our pathway program in AHC31420 – Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management.
In this course, students will gain practical knowledge and skills in, forest regeneration and land conservation and learn how rainforest native botanicals are used at the distillery, along with practical examples of how forest ecosystem services can complement Production horticulture.
You are welcome to stay and enjoy a G &T or cocktail on the Distillery Deck as the sun dips and check out the amazing offerings from Distillery Door. (Drinks not included in workshop price)
