FIRST AID, CPR & RECERTIFICATION

Approved by WorkCover, this one day course provides the skills and knowledge required to deliver first aid responses, life support and casualty management until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID RESPONSE IN AN EDUCATION AND CARE SETTING

This course targets the provision of first aid response to infants, children and adults. The unit applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.

YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID

Each year 1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental illness. Many people are not knowledgeable or confident to offer assistance. Physical first aid is accepted and widespread in our community, however most do not cover mental health problems.

Mental illnesses often start in adolescence or early adulthood and it is important to detect problems early to ensure the young person is properly treated and supported.
