4 weeks industry work skills

AHC30116 – Certificate III in Agriculture
AHC31416 – Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management
AHC31516 – Certificate III in Indigenous Land Management
AHC30616 – Certificate III in Production Horticulture

This selection of primary industries training will be an exciting opportunity to learn essential land management work skills while gaining valuable real life workplace experience.

This course will be a hands-on opportunity to begin to build the skills and knowledge to progress to a full qualification. Strong focus on practical, hands-on, work based training.

Where: Wollongbar – NSW Department of Primary Industries

When: 4 weeks training starting on the 20th July 2020. Classes on Mondays & Tuesdays from 9am -3:30pm.

We are very excited to be launching this initiative with you and to support the development of training and employment pathways for the local community.

This program has been developed with a strong focus on practical, hands-on, work based training.

It is designed as an introductory and pre-employment training program with a view to engaging students towards completion of full Certificate III qualification.

AHCCHM304 Transport and store chemicals
AHCCHM307 Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases
AHCILM302 Provide appropriate information on cultural knowledge
AHCWRK303 Respond to emergencies
HLTAID003 Provide first aid

Entry requirements: there are no Training Package entry requirements for this course. Learners will have completed a language literacy and numeracy assessment during the enrolment process and demonstrate their learning capacity to undertake course. Students must be at least 15 years old.

During the enolment process students will have to suply police check.

Prior to training students will be required to complete and sign a COVID-19 Screening Checklist.
