NCCC, in collaboration with Cape Byron Distillery are excited to offer this workshop in Cape Byron Distillery’s own Subtropical Rainforest, which compliments their working Macadamia nut farm. 

This non-accredited training is a great introduction to our pathway program in AHC31420 – Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management.

Introduction to Integrated Pest Management Workshop

This FEE FREE workshop provides a unique opportunity to learn about Integrated Pest Management and provides a great opportunity to reduce the use of pesticides and herbicides, potentially reducing operating costs ,increasing biodiversity and creating sustainable practices.

This workshop explores Integrated Pest Management concepts combined with a walking tour and explanation of various IPM strategies applied on farm at the DPI centre for tropical Horticulture.

The workshop is designed to develop knowledge and hands on skills relating to sustainable pest management in and horticultural enterprises, commercial livestock and domestic situations.
