SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety

Fine tune your coffee skills with our Accredited Barista Training. You will learn the basics of how to operate and troubleshoot using a commercial coffee machine and grinder. Also how to advise customers on coffee beverages, select the right beans and the cleaning and maintenance of equipment. In addition you will also learn basic hygiene and food handling requirements which are essential in any hospitality environment. Our Accredited Barista course results in a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.

RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT OF GAMBLING (RCG)

SITHGAM001 Provide responsible gambling services

Provide responsible gambling services This mandatory six-hour, accredited program approved by Liquor and Gaming NSW, aims to encourage a responsible, caring and professional approach to gambling and is compulsory for everyone working in gaming venues of licenced premises in NSW. To obtain both licences on the one photo competency card both RSA and RCG must be completed within 90 days of each other.

WHS IN THE WORKPLACE

BSBWHS401 – Implement and monitor WHS policies procedures and programs to meet legislative requirements

This course will give you the skills and knowledge required to implement and monitor your organisations work, health and safety (WHS) policies, procedures and programs in your industry in order to meet legislative requirements. You will learn to understand the overall importance of safety in the workplace, interpret and apply relevant health and safety legislation and be aware of what legislation enforcement measures are in place. You will also be able to use your skills to create solutions to unpredictable problems through analysis and evaluation of information from a variety of sources.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL (RSA)

SITHFAB002 Provide responsible service of alcohol

This training is mandatory for people wanting to work with alcohol in the hospitality industry (where alcohol is either served or sold). This course is also recommended for security staff who monitor patron behaviour in hotels and clubs and to the licensee who is ultimately responsible for Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) management. The course is approved by Liquor and Gaming NSW. It is strongly advised to also complete RCG (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) to have both licences appear on the one photo competency card.

The Job Search Skills workshop will give you the answers to all these questions, plus a plan to get you to a new job within a month. After completing this program, you’ll be more than ready to start your search for your perfect job. Identifying the purpose for working and the assessment of skills can help determine the types of jobs you should apply for.

GENERAL CONSTRUCTION INDUCTION CERTIFICATE (WHITE CARD)

CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.

Delivered in partnership with Allens Training Pty Ltd who will issue successful participants with a Statement of Attainment on successful completion. Accredited by SafeWork NSW, this general induction training is for anyone entering the construction industry or those seeking registration as an owner builder. The course delivers a basic knowledge of requirements under the WHS Act, the common hazards and risks likely to be encountered on construction sites and how these risks should be controlled. Original 100pt ID to be shown to the Trainer on day of the course. A SafeWork NSW certificate will be issued at completion of training to successful participants.
